A complainant has appealed to the Ogun State Police Command for intervention over an alleged outstanding debt of ₦112,000 involving Damilola Ajoke, who reportedly organised a weekly contribution scheme.
According to the complainant, the amount remains unpaid despite repeated requests for repayment dating back to July. The complainant alleges that the money was contributed under an agreed weekly arrangement and that WhatsApp conversations contain acknowledgements of the outstanding amount.
The complainant also says bank transfer receipts, transaction records and messages relating to the arrangement are available to support the claim.
Efforts to resolve the dispute amicably have reportedly included the intervention of a police officer, who allegedly contacted Ajoke and her grandmother. However, the complainant maintains that these efforts have not resulted in repayment.
The complainant further explains that the money was intended to help establish a small business but is now urgently needed to contribute towards the hospital bills of a father who has reportedly been receiving treatment since August.
The complainant is asking Ajoke to make contact and agree on a clear repayment arrangement rather than continue making promises without settling the alleged debt.
In an appeal to the authorities, the complainant called on the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, the appropriate divisional police officer serving Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, and other relevant authorities covering Lemode community to take note of the complaint and ensure that any matter within their jurisdiction is handled professionally and in accordance with the law.
The complainant also encouraged anyone with similar documented concerns to report them through appropriate channels.
The dispute remains an allegation presented by the complainant. The claims have not been independently verified, and no response from Ajoke was included in the information provided for this report.
The complainant says they remain willing to pursue lawful debt-recovery options if the matter is not resolved. The appeal, according to the complainant, is for accountability and repayment, not harassment or intimidation.
