Security Crisis: NANS Southwest Seeks First Lady’s Intervention in Oyo School Abduction Case

During her official working visit to Ekiti State, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has been presented with a pressing regional concern — the unresolved abduction of students and teachers in Oriire LGA, Oyo State.

The appeal came from NANS Southwest Zone D, led by Coordinator Comrade Adeyemo Josiah Kayode (Billioncodes).

The student body argues that attacks on schools are not isolated security failures — they represent structural vulnerabilities in rural protection systems.

The association emphasized that prolonged captivity:

2. Damages mental health
3. Weakens academic continuity
4. Undermines government credibility
5. Urgent But Strategic Intervention

Rather than symbolic visits, NANS Southwest is demanding strategic escalation — intelligence reinforcement, rescue acceleration, and long-term preventive measures.
